Shortly after I posted my Twitter for Restaurants Guide, I received an email from Mike Fitzharris in Holland, Michigan. Mike owns 3 restaurants and had just gotten on board with Twitter. Busy trying to run his restaurants, he signed up for Twitter in a hurry and quickly slapped in a couple of logos and followees. He was interested in a customized look for his new Twitter pages, and I gladly stepped in.
Before he really starts to roll with his tweeting, he’s brushing up on the guide so he can hit the ground running. Looking forward to watching your follower list grow, as well as your bottom line. Good luck Mike!

8th Street Grille

8th Street Grille only had its logo going for it on Twitter, but their downloadable menu is a fantastic collage of old-tyme products, antique photos and quirky knick knacks. This treatment is quite busy, but brings in the atmosphere of the restaurant’s brand.

84 East

84 East’s Twitter background was the repeating extra-large logo. The shape of the logo is perfect for the avatar, but didn’t reveal much of the restaurant’s personality. The interior of the 84 East features exposed brick walls with painted iconic imagery. Bringing one of the walls into the background lends the flavor of the restaurant to its Twittering companion.

Froggy’s
Froggy’s went from a bright repeated logo to a quieter, greener palette, with a little fun thrown in with the peeping Froggy eyes up top. Froggy’s is a very casual walk-up vendor. All three of Mike’s restaurants have very distinct brands and markets.
